Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will organise the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy. The event will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
WETEX is one of the largest specialised exhibitions of its kind in the world and the largest in the region across the energy, water, green development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, decarbonisation, green mobility, green hydrogen, sustainable cities and related sectors.
The 27th edition of WETEX achieved remarkable success with the participation of 3,100 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors from around the world. Covering an area of 95,000 square metres, the exhibition hosted 18 international pavilions and attracted 68 sponsors and 18 supporting organisations and associations. DEWA, together with WETEX sponsors and partners, organised 114 specialised seminars, attended by numerous experts and specialists from major local and international companies. The Delegation Zone at WETEX 2025 was dedicated to enhancing communication and co-operation between local and international companies participating in the exhibition and major government entities in the UAE and the GCC. Many MoUs and agreements were signed during the exhibition, which also facilitated numerous meetings between companies, government and private institutions and investors through the business-to-business and business-to-government platforms.
Through its dedicated Green Mobility Hall, WETEX highlighted the latest innovations in hydrogen technologies, low-emission fuels and AI applications that advance EV adoption and support the development of infrastructure, projects and charging stations. In addition, the Health and Safety Hub at WETEX 2025 served as a dynamic platform for advancing health, safety and well-being through innovation, education and collaboration.
WETEX 2025 also expanded its focus on investments in drones, smart grids and AI to enhance the security and sustainability of energy and water, advance the process of digital transformation and develop resilient infrastructure.
