Dubai Retail unveils The Yard, Palm Jebel Ali’s first retail and lifestyle destination

Dubai Retail, one of the region's largest groups of malls and retail destinations, under Dubai Holding Asset Management, today announced the upcoming launch of The Yard, Palm Jebel Ali's first retail and lifestyle destination. This addition expands Dubai Retail's portfolio to 57 malls and lifestyle destinations across Dubai, further strengthening its presence in key growth corridors across the Emirate.

Scheduled to open in 2027, The Yard will serve as a key destination that caters to the future needs of Palm Jebel Ali residents, offering a curated mix of retail, dining and lifestyle experiences as one of Dubai’s most significant waterfront developments continues to take shape. The destination will support the community’s everyday needs by bringing essential services, dining, wellness and social experiences together in one convenient location.

Spanning approximately 70,000 square feet of gross leasable area, the waterfront destination will bring together 26 concepts across retail, dining, wellness, and healthcare. It is expected to serve approximately 20,000 residents across the surrounding communities.

Confirmed brands include Waitrose, American Hospital, Piccoli, Jumeirah International Nursery, Bateel Café and Friends Avenue, reflecting a well-rounded mix of offerings designed to serve residents and visitors.

Designed in response to its exceptional waterfront setting, The Yard will feature open terraces and vibrant communal spaces that invite residents and visitors to gather, dine, and enjoy time by the water. The Yard will create a lively social hub with direct links to a waterfront promenade and nearby open spaces.

McLaren Construction L.L.C. is the main contractor leading the development of The Yard, leveraging its extensive expertise in construction and project delivery to bring the project’s vision to life as a distinctive waterfront destination.
